enough is enough!

I am not a celebrity. I don’t have a fan base in the same way but in some circles I’m pretty well known and do you know what that means?

stalkers, repeated harassment and abuse.

I’ve tried and tried I report it to the police over and over but, frankly I am tired and without the celebrity paycheque to safeguard myself I simply have had to become really self sufficient.

today was the last straw with a brand I thought I loved and I will name and shame.

long story short this is not the first time that warehouse pickers manage to damage items I order online, but it is the first time I have had a customer service agent tell me to “try the product and report anything unusual”?

Inika? What the actual frick?

I’ve had this issue before with “wild mint” (the viral skincare brand) when I had some musty smelling product sent over on a repeat purchase. The service agent was rude and I was heartbroken because it smelled gross.

listen, I used to work in retail cosmetics and I get it: you want to protect from stock loss. So how about instead you recognise that as a concerned customer who would never had bought something in that condition was immediately entitled to exchange or refund.

try and see??! The agent (who I will not name but she knows who she is) was dressing up rudeness with polite language but after having been poisoned and even had poisonous spiders put in my apartment (oh yes!) I am not taking any chances. I am sick of being ill.

so I shall NEVER be buying from Inika again this is just so rude.

I began politely and when she told me to try and see I lost my temper.

I wasn’t swearing but I definitely wanted to, but look what good came out of it.

my partner is laughing right now because over the last two years he has had to watch hundreds of TikTok’s based in rural china on how to make your own lipsticks from flowers. So here I am. Pulvurising petals from a birthday bouquet (thank you Bloom&Wild) to create two beautiful shade – a rose pink-red and a gorgeous purple-pink from the stocks and whatever else was in there.

If you want to play along the bouquet was called “jasmin” and not gonna lie, making lipstick/balm/gloss is not difficult work but it takes a long time especially when you’re making the pigment yourself.

so I will probably post the results first to my TikTok @beautyboo.blog and I think I have a Pinterest and a rednote which I’m sure will update as well.

have a look at the pretty flowers

love
